This year we awarded $21,000.00 in college scholarships to our members and their family members. Since 2002, our Foundation has awarded over $544,000.00 in college scholarships.
Scholarship Criteria
We encourage individuals who are furthering their careers to apply for an educational scholarship. The following criteria are required for applicants to participate in the program:
Eligible students shall:
- be currently enrolled in college and have completed a minimum of 15 college credits
- be of good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- be an active SCFRC member in good standing or an immediate family member (spouse or child)
- SCFRC member must have attended, or sponsored someone to attend, an SCFRC event in the past 12 months
SCFRC Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee members and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply for scholarship funds.
